The Blood Connection gets set for Star-Spangled blood drive

UPSTATE – People all over the United States will celebrate Independence Day on the 4th of July, and The Blood Connection hopes that people will remember to help save a life during the holiday.

Easley’s Blood Connection donation center will host a Star-Spangled Blood Drive Tuesday, June 29 through Thursday, July 1 in honor of the holiday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Blood donors will be given a special star-spangled t-shirt. Door prizes and refreshments for donors will be available during the event.

The Easley donation center is located at 1954 E. Main St. in Easley. Other centers around the Upstate that will be celebrating the holiday is the Seneca donation center located at 1308 Sandifer Boulevard in Seneca and the Greenwood donation center at 1224 Spring St. in Greenwood.
