This year, Easley will offer a three day celebration beginning Friday and going through Sunday.
The event will kick off from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Friday at Old Market Square for a 50’s night and cruise-in. Cruisers should check in at Pendleton St. and 1st Ave. beginning at 5 p.m. The Spotlight Dance Company will be on stage throughout the night, along with a D.J. Mechanical carnival rides will be available for fun for all ages. For Friday night only, wrist bands are available for unlimited rides for $15.
The festivities begin Saturday from noon – 10 p.m. On the main stage from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m., Katlin Owen will take the stage followed by Spotlight Dance Company from 2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. From 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., Revolution Band will take the stage. From 6:30 p.m. – 6:45, Terry Wood will take the stage. Mayor Larry Bagwell will have the festival welcome on stage at 6:45 p.m. Saturday’s headliners, The Flashbacks, will take the stage at 7 p.m. and finish the day’s festivities at 10 p.m.
Carnival rides will also be available Saturday in Old Market Square. Food and craft vendors will be on Pendleton St., the Plaza and Old Market Square throughout the day.
On July 4, the festivities will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. On the main stage from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. will be Gospel Music. From 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. will be the Forget Tomorrow Band. Terry Wood will be on stage from 6 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.. Sunday’s headliners, Big Time Band will be on stage from 7 p.m. – 9:45 p.m. At 9:45 p.m., the city will set off its spectacular fireworks display.
On Sunday from 2 p.m. – 10 p.m., children can enjoy inflatable rides by SpaceWalk of Anderson in Old Market Square. From 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. street magician Magic by Marty will be available in Old Market Square. Food and craft vendors will also be available on Pendleton St. the Plaze and Old Market Square.
