EASLEY —The Easley High School football team will make its paid-attendance debut under new coach Chad Smith Thursday night as the Green Wave hosts the annual Easley Jamboree at Brice Field.

The event begins at 7 p.m. with Pickens facing Woodmont. At 8 p.m., Berea will play Hanna. Then at 9 p.m. Easley will take on Pendleton.

Easley will only appear in one jamboree this season although the team has already participated in several scrimmages.

Easley begins its season Aug. 20, one week earlier that other S.C. High School League teams.

Liberty is set to play Palmetto Friday night during the Wren Jamboree at Hurricane Field.

Pickens will play Daniel during the Blue Flame Jamboree next Thursday night.

Then next Friday, the Blue Flame will play in the Daniel Day Jamboree — being held at Liberty this year — against Westside.

Liberty will play St. Josephs in the Daniel Day Jamboree.
