“Somebody will ask me why so-and-so has never made it to the Hall of Fame,” Seabrook said, “and I tell them I don’t know it for a fact, but I would guess that nobody ever nominated that person.”
Nominations are coming in slowly for the 2010 EHS Hall of Fame class, Seabrook said. Regardless of the number of applications, Seabrook said he will have to cut off the nominations for this year’s class in early September, so that the names can be processed and preparations can be made for the induction ceremony later in the year during halftime of an Easley football game.
“I know that there are people out there who can remember somebody who is worthy of Hall of Fame status,” Seabrook said. “It would be a shame for them to have to wait yet another year to be considered because somebody misses the deadline.”
Nomination forms for the EHS Hall of Fame are available at the school or at the school Web site.
