Daniel, forced to abandon its home field due to the Pickens County school building program, will borrow Brice Field for a second time tonight, facing Belton-Honea Path in a key Western AAA game.
The Lions come into the game 4-3.
After opening the season with losses to Easley and Greenville, Daniel bounced back with four straight wins, including its Western AAA opener at Walhalla.
Last week Daniel fell in an emotional game to rivals Seneca 24-21.
This week the Lions host Belton-Honea Path. The Bears overpowered Pickens 69-7 last week.
For Daniel, tonight’s game may give an answer to where any Daniel playoff games will be held. Only the first and second seeds from a conference host first-round games in the playoffs. With a loss tonight, Daniel could hope for no better than third place in the Western AAA this season.
