EASLEY — An Easley woman died at the hospital after being involved in a crash, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened on Aug. 30 on Pelzer Highway at Tinsley Drive.

Officials said a Honda sedan was traveling west when it moved left of center and hit a Volvo sport utility vehicle.

According to troopers, a tire from the Volvo then hit a Chevrolet pickup.

Troopers said the driver of the Honda, who was identified by the Pickens County Coroner’s Office as 72-year-old Kathie Lindsey, died Saturday.

Lindsey died at Greenville Memorial Hospital from blunt force trauma, the coroner said.

No one else was injured in the crash, according to SCHP.
